STAX: Modular Brick Oven System

Image
We love providing brick ovens to our customers, no matter the location that they want their unit placed. However, because of issues with land shape and object clearance problems, we can provide a modular build that can be brought in to your living space using smaller equipment so that nothing can stand in your way of getting your own brick oven from Round Grove Products !  The STAX modular system we use to install your brick oven begins with you deciding if you want simply a fireplace, a brick oven or a combo unit in your living space. After you make this decision, it is determined what pieces are needed at the worksite as, depending on the model and build selection, some units have more or fewer modules than other units do. These pieces are then brought to your home to install as we would a normal single piece brick oven, but with smaller stand-behind equipment instead of our normal larger equipment. Although this process will take a little more time than a normal Round Grove bric...

However, we can give you tips for making the decision about what type of brick oven you should get.  The first most obvious decision that comes when you are looking into brick ovens is deciding whether you want just simply a brick oven or a brick oven-fireplace combo . Are you going to be using this brick strictly for cooking and then heading back inside to enjoy your meal? You may want just a brick oven then. What about if you plan on entertaining guests outside all night long after eating a wood-fired mea...

Image
If you want to be a master chef with your brick oven, you have to have the right tools of the trade! What you actually get is up to you, but here are some suggestions to think about so that you will be ready when outdoor oven time comes! The very first thing you need to get in an infrared thermometer . When cooking with your outdoor brick oven, you have to have that right temperature, and those temperatures are high! The infrared thermometer will allow you to get an accurate measurement while still keeping you safe. Pizza Peel A pizza peel should be next on your list. The pizza peel is a long handled large spatula that allows you to place the entire pizza inside your oven. Make sure you have one that has a long enough handle to reach all the way into where the pizza will bake the best. A turning peel is also something you might want to consider.
